Design Directions

Read me

Intro

The following explorations are not final designs but starting points. They are meant to give you a broad visual and structural foundation for discussion and decision-making.

Guidance for Review

Please review on desktop only – mobile views are not yet part of this iteration.

  • Content (texts, images, videos) is placeholder. The focus should be on visual elements, layout, structure, navigation, headlines/sublines styles, typo, logo etc.

  • Details like hover effects and micro-interactions will be addressed later.

  • In some places, I used a different typography than specified in the briefing. This was intentional, to test a few variations and see what resonates. Please let me know which typography you’d like to move forward with, in case the original choice from the requirements is reconsidered.

Scope of Proposals

Originally, three directions were planned – you now have five directions, each with a couple variations. This broader set reflects the creative workflow and is meant to provide a stronger decision base.

The directions are flexible and can be combined. If none fits on its own, pick the closest match and note elements from other versions you’d like to merge in (screenshots or descriptions work fine).

Next Steps

Once you decide on a direction (or a combination), I’ll refine it into the final version and prepare the necessary assets, build the design system, page structure etc before designing/developing the rest of the sections/pages. For image- or video-heavy variants, we should clarify sourcing of the assets (stock, AI-generated, or your own production).

Brand / Logo

Alongside the design directions, I also created a set of logo explorations. I believe the brand icon can be improved, which would strengthen both the website and your overall brand.

  • This work was not originally in scope, but if you find a direction you like, we can add it to the scope. I would then finalize the chosen (or iterated) version and provide you with full logo assets.

  • Estimated effort: ~1–1.5 days, scoped at my standard hourly rate of €200/hour.

  • Please let me know if you want to use any of the provided suggestions.

Directions

Direction 2: SaaS-style with Graphic

A more traditional SaaS style with notification elements and animated UI graphics. Comes across as technical and trustworthy, resonating with IT and engineering-focused audiences.

Direction 5: Abstract Hover

A bold, dark approach with interactive abstract visuals, blur effects, and a serif/sans-serif type pairing. Distinctly modern and AI-forward, combining elegance with cutting-edge design language.

Desktop only — no mobile versions. Draft directions, not needed at this stage.
