Scope Overview

Migration of the Utila.io website from WordPress to Framer, ensuring:

  • 1:1 content parity at launch

  • CMS-based structure for scalability and easy updates

  • Zero downtime during migration and switch-over

  • Optionally: visual and design refresh depending on Utila’s preference

Design Refresh Options

  • Option A — Design Refresh by Utila
If you provide a complete Figma design file, I’ll rebuild the site based on that design.
→ Effort: same as a migration, no additional cost.

  • Option B — Design Refresh by Allsite
If you’d like me to lead the refresh, I can handle:

    • Visual direction, typography, and color refinement

    • Layout and structure modernization

    • Alignment with your brand identity and product narrative

→ Adds roughly 20–30% to total effort depending on depth.

Current Sitemap & Structure

Based on review of Utila.io, the site includes:

  • Homepage

  • Integrations (CMS collection with filters: blockchains, exchanges, DeFi, on/off-ramp, backup & recovery, compliance, staking)

  • Product Pages – stablecoin ops, trading ops, treasury ops, business continuity, wallet infrastructure, tokenization (CMS collection #2)

  • Customer Stories – index + case study detail pages (CMS collection #3)

  • Security Page

  • Blog – index + article detail pages (CMS collection #4)

  • About Us

  • Contact Sales

  • Secondary Pages – Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Fulfillment Policy, Cookies Notice

  • External Links – Help Center, API Reference, System Status, Careers

If we add external pages (e.g. Careers or Newsletter) and rebuild them natively in Framer, that will extend the overall scope.
That said, I’d recommend considering this — many pre-Series A teams prefer keeping careers/open-roles, resources, or newsletters directly in the Framer CMS for easier management.

CMS Setup

Framer CMS will be used for:

  • Integrations

  • Product pages

  • Case studies

  • Blog

Each with category filters, thumbnails, metadata, and dynamic routing.
You’ll have full edit access and can publish new entries without dev involvement.

Product Showcasing (UI Integration)

Currently, the product visuals on Utila.io include a lot of information but appear quite small and dense — often presented in compact bento-style layouts that are hard to visually digest.
As a user, it feels like there are visuals present, but they don’t really communicate what the product does or help me understand how it works.

This is where there’s a big opportunity: the product UI on the website can serve as a visual narrative layer — not just decoration, but a way to contextualize the product, explain its logic, and offer a “pre-demo” experience that builds clarity, interest, and desire for the solution.

Given my 10+ years in product design, a core focus of my work is translating complex software into visual storytelling. I often rebuild key UI components directly in Framer to create animated, interactive product journeys that:

  • Communicate function and value instantly

  • Make product concepts easier to grasp

  • Feel premium, fast, and modern

This type of work typically requires the same level of effort as building the site itself, so it’s not part of the migration scope by default.
If this is something you’d like to explore, we can identify which product areas to highlight and I can provide an estimate based on that.
If product designs are already available in Figma, that reduces the additional effort significantly.

Scope & Timeline

The project would be structured into three clear phases:

Phase 1 — Kickoff & Structure (Days 1–3)

  • Alignment session with your team to confirm sitemap, priorities, and content mapping.

  • Define CMS collections and naming structure in Framer.

  • Technical setup (custom domain, staging, analytics, and SEO preservation).

Phase 2 — Design & Content Setup (Days 4–10)

  • Translation of existing content and design refresh (if included in scope).

  • Setup of CMS structures for Integrations, Products, Blog, and Case Studies.

  • Definition of responsive behavior, typography, spacing, and animation tokens.

Phase 3 — Build & QA (Days 11–20)

  • Page-by-page development in Framer, including CMS bindings.

  • Integration of forms (Contact, Newsletter, etc.).

  • QA testing across devices, browsers, and viewport sizes.

  • DNS switch with zero downtime, followed by post-launch checks.

If a design refresh by Allsite is included, this may extend the timeline by approximately 4–6 days depending on the depth of redesign and content revisions.

Estimated Duration: 4 weeks total
Estimated Start: upon approval and receipt of materials

Next Steps

If the structure outlined here aligns with your expectations:

  1. Confirm whether you’d like to proceed with

    • Migration only, or

    • Migration + Design Refresh (by Allsite)

  2. I’ll then provide a formal cost estimate and target timeline for approval.

  3. Once approved, we’ll schedule a kickoff call and begin setup immediately.

You’ll have a live staging environment throughout the project to review progress.
